Certified Nursing Assistant FT DAYS (Sat-Sun-Mon)

About the role

Making a difference in the lives of older adults is at the heart of what we do at Covenant Living. Our skilled nursing facility, situated on the shores of Lake Washington in Mercer Island, offers a serene environment just 5 minutes from Factoria Mall and 4 minutes from I-90.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc.
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside table, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Assists with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away. Notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding of residents. May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move residents as needed.

Pay

Compensation Pay Range: $21.95 - $29.22 per hour. A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $21.95 - $29.22 per hour. Factors such as job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity are taken into account in determining the actual offered rate of pay.
