In this role as a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), you'll provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. Location: Beloit Memorial Hospital - Beloit, WI. Department: Family Care Center.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs
- Assisting with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Providing comfort, dignity, and emotional support to patients
- Answering call lights and responding promptly to patient needs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Supporting nursing staff with patient care activities
- Accurately documenting care provided according to hospital standards
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in Wisconsin
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Demonstrates ability to do simple math functions
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
