Responsibilities
- Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Provide patient care activities within the limits of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position.
- Do not administer medications or therapy and do not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
- Carry out duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: None required; a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
