About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties are carried out within the limits of the position and do not include administering medications or therapy, or assuming independent responsibility for patient care. Work is performed in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
• Current BLS certification is required

Qualifications

• No experience required
• A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
