Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part-Time

Summary of Duties

• Provides personal care and ADLs to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Keeps rooms and care areas clean and neat.
• Participates in resident orientation.
• Documents care as instructed and reports changes in resident condition.
• Checks assigned residents and reports on their care needs.
• Assists with transportation of residents to various facilities and programs.
• Makes vital sign checks and reports any changes to nursing staff.
• Encourages participation in activity programs and assists as needed.
• Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
• Lifts, turns, moves, positions, and transports residents using appropriate techniques.
• Serves meals and assists with feeding as necessary.
• Responds to call lights and resident requests promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Alabama or certification within 120 days of hire.
• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
