Position Summary
St. Paul Elder Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our overnight care team. As a NOC Shift CNA, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents throughout the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting dignity and independence. This position works closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor resident needs, respond to call lights, and provide quality care in a supportive senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care during overnight hours.
- Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, walking, and personal hygiene.
- Answer resident call lights promptly and provide appropriate assistance.
- Safely turn and reposition residents as needed.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident care procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable resident care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively during overnight hours.
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and personal care.
- Ability to accurately document resident information and report changes in condition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing.
- Experience providing overnight resident care.
- Knowledge of resident rights, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
