Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Multiple Shifts

About the role

Highland Park Health Care in Okmulgee, OK is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join a multidisciplinary team that provides long‑term and rehabilitative care. The CNA works an 8‑hour shift, delivering personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and contributing to superior clinical, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of the resident’s status at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed, within established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, documenting observations as required.
• Comply with safe‑lifting and safe‑transfer procedures; perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours: 3 pm – 11 pm and 11 pm – 7 am. Shift differential is offered.
