Job Summary
Renders basic patient care to patients in an assigned unit and assists the professional nurse; takes and records vital signs and observes, reports, and records patient condition; obtains specimens and administers other treatments; operates or assists in operating various mechanical devices; meets physical comfort needs of patient; reports emergencies and administers emergency treatment.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: CNA, Nurse Aide Experience, or currently attending a school of nursing.
- Minimum Experience: As per requirement.
- Required Certification: BLS.
- Required Licensure: None.
