Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Days/Nights

About the role

The acute rehabilitation unit at Select Medical Rehabilitation is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with a variety of medical conditions, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Taking vital signs, measuring height and weight, and collecting demographic data.
• Aiding patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks to patients who cannot feed themselves and documenting their intake.
• Assisting with turning and positioning immobile patients safely, participating in mobility programs.
• Answering patient call lights and performing other services to enhance the patient's physical well-being.
• Transferring patients to designated areas, such as between treatment centers.

Requirements

• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
• Active CNA license in the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols.

Pay

$18.50-22.56 per hour, based on years of experience, plus shift differential.

Schedule

Full-time, rotating shifts (days and nights) available, 12 hours per shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Sign-On Bonus

$2,500 sign-on bonus offered.
