Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Days

About the role

Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture/partnership/affiliation with Select Medical, is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks to patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting their intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility programs.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that enhance the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transporting patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Requirements

• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.
• Active CNA license in the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols.

Pay

• $17.64 to $21.50 per hour, based on experience.

• Full Time - 12 Hour Shifts - Day Shift 7:00a-7:00p.
