Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Full Time, Days

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. This role has full access to patient health information and may access medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Schedule

Days, 12-hour shift.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required, unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
