Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-time, Day Shift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Florida Nursing Assistant License Required*
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

Pay

• $17.23 -$21 per hour (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $3,500

Schedule

• Full Time, Day shift, 12hr shift
