Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and proper positioning.
- Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and observe resident conditions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.
- Support residents' dignity, independence, and preferences following care plans.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification in Tennessee.
- Experience in long-term or skilled nursing preferred, but training available for suitable candidates.
- Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents safely with or without assistance.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach.
