Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Full Time

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Schedule

Nights, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
