Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
• Provide patient care activities within the limits of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position
• Do not administer medications or therapy
• Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care
• Carry out duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) where required by state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• None required for entry‑level
• Preferred: 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
