About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include patient care activities within the limits of the position, without administering medications or therapy or assuming independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred, but not required.
