About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties are carried out within the limits of the position, without administering medications or therapy or assuming independent responsibility for patient care, in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional related duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
- Provide accommodative services to patients
- Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Complete other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit (preferred)
