About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties are carried out within the limits of the position and in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. This role does not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under nursing supervision
• Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred, but not required
