Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Evenings

CNA Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Aid residents with daily living activities (ADLs)
• Support mobility and proper positioning, including use of adaptive equipment
• Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable environments for residents
• Change bed linens and ensure beds are safe and wrinkle-free
• Communicate effectively with nurses and care team members
• Follow care plans and report changes in resident condition
• Deliver care with dignity, respect, and compassion

CNA Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Missouri (in good standing)
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Listed on the Missouri Nurse Aide Registry
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow care instructions
• No experience required – new CNAs encouraged to apply
• Preferred but not required: Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation
