Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day Shift

About the role

RUSH Specialty Hospital is a 100-bed facility combining a critical illness recovery hospital and an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. The hospital focuses on providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Aiding patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, assisting with feeding patients who cannot feed themselves, and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely, participating in mobility programs.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services to enhance the patient's physical well-being.
• Transporting patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Requirements

• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
• Active CNA license in the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$20.51 - $25 per hour based on years of experience, plus shift differential for night and/or weekend shifts.

Schedule

Full Time, Night Shift (12hr shifts).
