Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Day Shift 8HR shifts

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide outstanding basic nursing care to our residents.

About the role

Work under the guidance of licensed nurse supervisors on our day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space

Requirements

• CNA license in the state of Missouri
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Basic reading and writing skills
• CPR/BLS Certification
