What You Will Do: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. - Assist with patient mobility, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating patients. - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. - Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including changing linens and cleaning patient rooms. - Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients. - Document patient care activities and observations in the medical record. - Respond to patient call lights and requests in a timely manner. - Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings. - Adhere to infection control policies and procedures, including proper hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment. - Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient safety and confidentiality. - Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Full-time opportunity with a unique schedule: work 36 weekend hours (12-hour shifts) and be paid for a standard 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
  • Current BLS certification is required
  • A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
