Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and team-oriented CNA's to join our team. Regency Florence is a small, 55 bed skilled facility with a relaxed, family-like vibe and a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
• Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements.
• Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
• Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
• Document care in keeping with department policies.
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

Requirements

You Currently Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment. Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.

Pay

Base pay starts at $22 per hour!! Day/Eve/NOC Available - NOC Shift 10P to 6AM on weekdays / 6PM to 6AM on Weekends
