Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA

About the role

We are Regency Albany, a skilled nursing community in the heart of the Willamette Valley. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care and promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.
• Individualize care plans and communicate specific information, changes, and observations to care planning staff.
• Attend to resident needs such as grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliance management, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, and communication.
• Maintain skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damages through appropriate interventions.
• Protect personal belongings of residents and report missing items promptly.
• Take vital signs, weigh residents, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents safely, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
• Document care in accordance with department policies.
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

Requirements

• Currently possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Able to obtain a CPR/BLS card.

Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your new role.

Pay

Starting at $25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Available opportunities include weekend PRN (Per Request Notified) shifts.
