About the role
As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
Responsibilities
- Provide client-centered care for people who have a complex psychiatric history. Collect and document external patient-reported medications, supplements, herbals, and over-the-counter products. Obtain vital signs, height and weight when clients present for their scheduled medication review appointments with the psychiatrist.
- Perform functional screening assessments to individuals prior to scheduled medication review appointments.
- The CNA provides client-centered care and assistance to assigned client under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completes job responsibilities within the specified time constraints.
- Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Respects Client Rights and promotes customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA).
Qualifications
Psychopharmacology knowledge is preferred.
