Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

About the role

Provide quality care to residents in a thoughtful and respectful manner, honoring and respecting each individual served. Work under the direction, instruction, and supervision of an RN or LPN.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising
• Help patients maintain good personal hygiene
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Provide routine individualized healthcare needs
• Monitor or report changes in health status
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report
• Discuss observations with supervisor or case manager
• Record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate
• Promote patient's mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest
• Give basic emotional and psychological support to the patient and family

Requirements

• Valid Georgia CNA certification in good standing
• Valid CPR certification
• Highly organized with attention to detail
