Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Help patients with mobility and physical activity as directed
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients
- Document patient care and progress accurately
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required at the time of application
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Minimum 1 year hands-on patient care experience required; hospital-based CNA clinical training may be considered
- BLS (AHA) and active CNA certification required
- Experience in Med/Surg and/or Inpatient Psychiatric settings preferred
