Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center, now under new ownership by Eduro Healthcare LLC, is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the long-term care unit at our skilled nursing facility in Sheridan, Wyoming. $2,000 sign-on bonus available.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on Eduro Healthcare values.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) care for residents
• Report observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Answer patients’ call lights and requests
• Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Prepare patients for transfers or discharge
• Comply with all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
• Observe patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
• Assist in the provision of emergency care

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by Wyoming
• BLS certification from the AHA
