Job Summary

Prairie Heights Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity
• Monitor vital signs, report changes to licensed nurses, and assist with range-of-motion exercises
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
• Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of South Dakota
• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
