About the role
Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team at their skilled nursing facility in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) care for residents
- Report observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
- Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
- Answering patients' call lights and requests
- Aiding patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
- Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
- Complying with all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
- Observing patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
- Aiding in the provision of emergency care
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by Wyoming required
- BLS certification from the AHA required
Qualifications
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Skills
- Knowledge of infection control and nursing care
- Ability to observe patient diet restrictions
- Emergency care skills
