About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA in Ohio), you will work with community management to provide personalized care to seniors. You’ll give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy. Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course and maintaining certification are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming).
- Check in with residents and provide status updates at shift changes.
- Assist with dining and personal care needs.
- Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures per community policy.

Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Brookdale also offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725 (less applicable taxes and withholding), for qualified associates who have been with the company for at least a year.
Pay
Base pay will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience.
