About the Role
Join Brookdale as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA in Ohio) and grow your career with opportunities for advancement into roles such as Medication Technicians (QMAP), Home Care Aides, and Nurses. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact while developing professionally and personally.
Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide personalized care to seniors.
- Provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist residents with dining and personal care needs, including activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming).
- Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course and maintenance of certification are required.

Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Brookdale also supports qualified associates in their journey to U.S. citizenship by advancing fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725 (less applicable taxes and withholding), for those employed for at least one year.
Pay
Base pay will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience.
