Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Avalon Care Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. Placement within the wage range is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.

Pay

$23.00 - $25.53 per hour

Full-time and part-time evening positions available.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize comfort while assisting residents in achieving their highest level of function
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with fall-risk precautions
• Facilitate interdepartmental communications within the care team

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment
• Must meet State and federal requirements, including 12 hours of in-service education
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• Recent education or clinical hours required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
