Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, safety, and well-being
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Perform resident rounds and provide timely assistance throughout the shift
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or Administrator

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Indiana
• Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant program
• Pass a background check
