Responsibilities

Your work as a certified nursing assistant supports patient comfort, dignity, and recovery in acute care settings. Depending on the shift, you may:

• Prepare rooms for patient admissions
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Record vital signs and document patient needs for the nurse on duty
• Support nursing teams to help ensure consistent, high-quality care

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid CNA license in the state of TN
