About the role
Care Pavilion is a 396-bed facility located in West Philadelphia. Under new leadership, we are striving to provide the best quality daily and long-term care to our residents. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers nursing and nursing-related services consistent with each resident’s comprehensive assessment and plan of care. Care is provided in a manner that meets residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social needs, enabling them to attain or maintain the highest practicable level of functioning. The CNA maintains a homelike environment, protects and promotes resident rights, and assists residents in maintaining independence and control to the greatest extent possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff
- Assist in the transport of patients
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Requirements
- CNA Certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to work well in teams
