Qualifications
- Current license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA certification class.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety regulations.
- Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
- Verify resident identification before providing nursing care or serving food to ensure correct resident receives appropriate care.
- Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator immediately.
- Make beds and clean bedside and over‑bed tables.
- Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water, and placed within the resident’s reach.
- Perform other related duties as necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
