Responsibilities
- Ensure residents' comfort and assist in achieving their highest practicable level of functioning.
- Aid in daily living activities such as hygiene, oral care, dressing, and grooming.
- Follow the plan of care for hygiene, oral care, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Maintain residents' rooms in a neat, orderly, and clutter-free condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the state and maintain certification throughout employment.
- Meet state and federal requirements, typically 12 hours of in-service education per year.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions to perform job tasks.
- Recent education or clinical hours are required.
