Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

As a CNA you will be responsible for assisting licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks to assigned residents to include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining / tray services, escort services, performing vital signs and weights and other care related duties as assigned. As part of the care team, you will participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and notification of resident changes of condition as they occur.

Compensation

• $18 - $21.50 or more based on experience
• Shift Diff: Weekday Nights: $1.50/hour (Monday - Thursday)
• Weekend Nights: $3.50/hour (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Nights Shift Diff: $1.50 + $3.50 (weekends) = $5.00/hour
• Weekend Days: $3/hour (Saturday, Sunday)

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (7 am - 7 pm or 7 pm - 7 am)
• Weekend availability required

Requirements

• Current South Carolina CNA Certification
• Experience required
• Current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications required
• Current First Aid certification required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with geriatric clients preferred
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required
