About the role

Interim Healthcare of Chatsworth is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at a respected sub-acute facility in North Hollywood. Work in a supportive environment providing specialized care to both adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients
Work with a team of RNs, LVNs and Respiratory Therapists to deliver excellent patient care
Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
Check vitals and document any change of condition

Requirements

High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant License in California
Minimum of 6 months CNA experience in a Sub-Acute facility required
BLS, Fire card, TB test (within 1 year), Pre-Employment physical
Per California state mandate, the COVID 19 vaccine is required for this position
Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
Compassionate nature, good communication and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule

Adult Unit: Night shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), any days between Thursday through Monday, 8 hours. Pediatric Unit: Day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), weekdays + rotating weekends, 12 hours.
