Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role

This position involves providing basic patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, feeding, and hydration under the supervision of nursing staff. Key responsibilities include ensuring a safe and comfortable environment and maintaining communication with healthcare team members. Adherence to safety, ergonomic, and organizational standards is essential, along with performing additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record clinical data such as vital signs and patient intake
• Assist with activities of daily living for patients across various age groups, from children to elderly
• Follow patient safety protocols and infection control practices, including proper use of PPE
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and access patient information based on role requirements
• Work in environments with exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Trainee program or current CNA certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
