Apex Staffing Services LLC is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for ongoing assignments in home care. Whether you're looking for stable full-time work, flexible per diem shifts, or contract assignments to keep your schedule open, we'd love to talk. We place CNAs for home care patients in Westchester County, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island (Nassau & Suffolk), Rockland County, and Orange County.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, feeding
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Repositioning residents per facility protocols to prevent pressure injuries
• Reporting changes in resident condition
• Documenting care accurately in the designated medical system
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents

Requirements

• Active NY State CNA certification in good standing (verifiable through NY State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete pre-assignment health screening (TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, annual flu, COVID-19 as facility requires)
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Eligible and located to work in the United States
• Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and respect for residents and their families
• Reliable transportation to assignment locations

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience (preferred)

Skills

• Experience with EMR documentation systems (PointClickCare, MatrixCare, etc.)
• Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Yiddish, Haitian Creole, Bengali, or other languages commonly spoken)
• Available for weekend and overnight shifts
