Certified Nursing Aide - CNA

As a key part of our clinical team, CNAs play a vital role in observing and reporting changes in mood or behavior that may indicate medical concerns.

Pay

• Base wages: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour (based on years of certification)
• $3.40 per hour Hero Pay
• $1.00 - $1.50 per hour Shift Premium for 2nd or 3rd shift
• Up to $24.90 per hour on 2nd shift
• Yearly wage increases

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts (all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays)
• Full-time or part-time positions available
• All shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) available

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans, including:
  • Bathing and activities of daily living (skin care, preventative/supportive care, mouth care, shaving, dressing)
  • Nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging continued well-being
• Observe and report significant changes in patient routine or condition to the nursing team
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving through kind words and encouragement

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Nurse Assistant training program
• Current CNA certification from the State of Michigan (required)
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care (EPIC)
• Team-oriented mindset with dedication to supporting colleagues
