Certified Nurses Assistant

About the role

Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs
• Changes bed linens
• Serves and collects food trays
• Provides between-meal nourishment
• Cleans, sterilizes, stores, and prepares supplies

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• AHA Healthcare Provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver certification preferred

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• BLS certification

Skills

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
