Certified Nurses Assistant

About the role

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are provided
• Provide training, assistance, and/or supervision to individuals in the areas of daily living, personal care, financial management, community, and social integration
• Maintain safe and quality supports for individuals served
• Assist with activity programs, including off-site outings and off-site appointments
• Maintain current progress notes and other documentation
• Assist with household activities such as housekeeping and meal preparation

Requirements

• Must have an active, unrestricted driver's license (we will check)
• Minimum pay for part-time is $15 hour, $16 hour full-time (scales with experience) +0.50 extra hourly for active CNA
• Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) certification
• CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, preferably working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a hospital, residential, clinical, and/or long-term care setting

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of rehabilitation and healthcare practices

Pay

• Minimum pay for part-time is $15 hour, $16 hour full-time (scales with experience) +0.50 extra hourly for active CNA

Schedule

• Full-time available: 2nd shift 3pm-11pm or 1st shift 7am-3pm
• Part-time available: 3rd shift 11pm-7am
• Some Weekends Required
