Responsibilities

• Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed.
• Documents personal care given according to facility policies.
• Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• Observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns.
• Reports immediately all accidents or injuries.
• Records all necessary charting entries.
• Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.
• Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Additional Expectations

Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.

Pay

Starting Pay: Competitive rates ranging from $19–$23/hour based on experience.

• Differentials offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends.
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours.

Schedule

• Available shifts: 7 a–3 p, 3 p–11 p, 11 p–7 a
• Per Diem availability
