Full-time night shift opportunity in a bargaining unit (EA).
Pay
$29.17/hour plus shift differential and differential based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs various resident care activities and related non-professional services to ensure personal needs and comfort of residents.
- Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Provides care to residents of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF/ECC).
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
- Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including bathing, dressing, and undressing residents.
- Provides dental care.
- Serves and collects food trays, documents meal percentages, and feeds residents requiring assistance.
- Transports residents to multiple activities.
- Turns and repositions residents safely to prevent bedsores, following the plan of care.
- Completes hourly patient safety rounds.
- Performs assigned showers, weights, and range of motion (ROM) tasks.
- Changes bed linens and helps maintain residents' rooms and clothes.
- Directs visitors and answers telephones.
- Documents all care and observations accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Participates in departmental in-services, training, growth, and development opportunities.
- Responsible for protecting self, facility, residents, and staff by following security policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates system values in performance and behavior.
- Complies with system policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No formal educational requirement.
- California Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) license (required upon hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (required upon hire).
- Enrollment in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Entry or Prep Curriculum (depending on previous BLS certification) within 3 months of hire.
