Certified Nurse Tech - Stroke Unit - Nights

About the role

The Cardiac Medical Unit (CMU) is a 35-bed department that provides compassionate patient care for stroke and dialysis patients. CMU serves Freeman and the community as the designated stroke floor to help maintain a Level II Stroke Accreditation. The unit serves a population of hemodynamically stable neuro-medical and renal patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients under the direction/supervision of a nurse.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of Freeman Health System 'Cardiac Medical Unit' competency within 120 days.
• Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License.
• Successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 365 days.
• Nt Competency annually by transcript due date.
