About the Role

The Nursing Technician performs basic nursing care and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write
• No prior work experience required
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a practical nursing program or a professional nursing program, or
• Previous experience working with patients, or
• One quarter of clinical experience as a student nurse, or
• Successful completion of a nurse aide course, or
• Experience from a related health care field (preferred)
