Certified Nurse Midwife/Nurse Practitioner

Full-time, exempt position within the Clinic department.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary healthcare provider for women, focusing on relatively healthy women with uncomplicated, low-risk pregnancies and their neonates.
• Provide ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum, and nonsurgical gynecological care (including hospital deliveries).
• Deliver ambulatory primary care for out-patients with chronic medical conditions and acute episodic illnesses.
• Perform physical examinations, health and psychological history-taking, clinical evaluations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide patient education as outlined in the Practice Agreement.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current unrestricted Minnesota nursing license.
• Current DEA registration certificate.
• Certification from the American Midwifery Board or American Nurses Credentialing Center.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail.
• Intermediate technology skills.
• Family Nurse Practitioner and Midwifery experience preferred.

Pay

Annual salary range: $133,099.20 - $171,121.60.
